Head Of School

Dr. George “Bo” Huffman has 34 years of experience in the educational field. For the past two years he has served as Principal for grades 7-12, biology instructor, football coach, and track coach at Prentiss Christian. 

Dr. Huffman served seven years as an instructor of Biology, Physical Science and Physical Education while at Brookhaven School District, Lawrence County High School, and Magee High School.  He also served as Assistant Principal and Principal at Magee High School for 14 years.  He served 10 years as CTE Director at the Simpson County
Technical Center before moving to Prentiss Christian School.

 
His education includes a PhD from the University of Southern Miss, MEd from William Carey, and a BS from the University of Southern Miss.

He has been married for 32 years to the love of his life, Darla Welch Huffman. He is the proud father of two boys, Derek (Haylee) and Hayden and is the proud Papa of two grandchildren, Reid and Renlee Belle.
